STANDARD photos are available in several sizes (choose from the Select menu) and are printed on high quality photo paper (matte or glossy depending on what suites the photo best). They are signed on the back side. Standard photos are not numbered and do not come with a Certificate of Authenticity or the Full Story (see the Deluxe photo info below).
DELUXE photos are available in several sizes (choose from the Select menu) and are printed on High Quality Fine Art Paper. They are signed on the front side and numbered as well as signed on the backside. With the Deluxe photo comes a Certificate of Authenticity which proves that the number is authentic and made by me. A signed and numbered artwork is always an investment. Deluxe photos are delivered in a tube.

THE NIGHT WATCH – Authentic Northern Lights Photo Print
The autumn of 2020 was not a very cold one, at least not the first half. I still had to dress extremely warmly on Friday October 23. It was just above zero degrees Celsius but the wind was coming straight in from the sea.
I had arranged for an aurora safari with my aurora watching students and we went to this beautiful beach in Jakobstad, Finland, called Fäboda. We gathered at 8 pm and waited for three hours before the aurora appeared. A few went home a little too early, but that’s the decision you sometimes choose to make for different reasons. And it’s totally fine. New chances will come.
So there we were, ten people with high expectations and just enough patience. And what a show we got! It started with the typical faint green arch and after 15 minutes or so we started seeing vertical lines in it. And suddenly it bursted out in colours and moving shapes. We cheered and, of course, hurried to take a group photo in front of the Northern Lights.
After one hour of magic auroras the group disbanded and most of us went home. I didn’t. And neither did the Northern Lights. They kept on shining for several hours.
At some point I decided to go home, but I changed my mind and went one last time down to the beach …
